Metal processing unit
The operation began in 1984 in a training programme for people with visual impairments in the Engineering and Electrotechnic issues. The production process started in 1985 and involved the construction of labeling plates for the Public Power Corporation (Δ.Ε.Η.) and components of weapons for the Hellenic Arms Industry, while the screen printing and plating sections started operating.
In 1996 the metal processing unit obtains a licence from the Ministry of Industry and continues to upgrade its equipment and employee training. Its customers are companies such as Siemens, EVIOP-TEMPO, the BSH, ELSA while its collaboration with Frigoglass made the first exports to Romania and Nigeria possible.

Responsible for the operation is Mr. George Karkoulias, who is blind and in 1996 was awarded by the Academy of Athens for the ingenuity and his contribution to the unit organisation.
